A basic training course in emergency care. CPR and 1st Aid skills taught with the same priorities of care and approach to the patient used by professionals. This class provides specific (Adult) training information & skills that a first aid provider must know, perform & provide for effective emergency care of specific illnesses and injuries before EMS arrives. This course meets the National Guidelines for First Aid Training in Occupational Settings & provides compliance with minimum Occupational Safety & Health Regulations.

This course is designed to provide the required training as set forth by Title 20 CFR 1910.1030. The course details protective equipment, barrier devises to isolate disease hazards and workplace practices that will minimize risks.

Trains care-givers in the skills needed to recognize and properly respond to childhood emergencies and infant CPR. OSHA certified for day care centers and child care providers.

Proper operation and techniques in the use of AED.
Course covers the “Chain of Survival” developed to provide an overall management approach in responding to sudden coronary emergencies. Course consists of four sections: Early Access, Early CPR, Early Defibrillation, and Early Advanced Care. Survival from a cardiac arrest is more dependent on a “chain” of events than any single “link” in that chain.
